Old Violet - September Chalk Paint® Color of the Month

Annie says Old Violet is, "Like deep Parma violets or blue lavender, Old Violet is a wonderful 18th Century colour inspired by the colours of ancient Rome. Beautiful on its on or paired with red for a little Parisian boho."

Mix with Old White for beautiful shade of purple-grey.

Here are some of my favorite mixes with Old Violet.

We think this is one of Annie's most underrated colors. The word "violet" scares people away but it really is a beautiful and goes with many home decor color pallets. Have you tried this color?

  1. Paint has always been an indoor design improvement wonder. a replacement coat of paint will work to offer a fresh New Look to any room. you'll have seen and enjoyed all the variations of paint applications on the market, but the one you'll have over looked is magnetic/chalk paint. it is a fantastically functional and easily fun, paint application.Chalking may be a sign of weathering in paint and may be a results of sunlight and oxygen breaking down the paint pigment. Although it can affect the looks of your home, it are often easily controlled by taking the proper measures. There are many problems that are easy to run into when it involves exterior paint. Some problems that one may encounter when handling exterior paint are peeling paint, efflorescence, mildew/mold, and chalking.
